Founded in 1995, First Eight was the first local band that could be associated with Ska, but with strong influences of punk and hardcore. First 8 play Ska with secret ingredients! The young ska band juggles with jazz, samba and of course punk and reggae influences in their show. Time and again, First 8 lures the dancing and celebrating audience out of reserve. "Well-timed Ska of the harder kind" inevitably leads to exuberant parties thanks to the very relaxed brass section!

Origin of the band were the two friends Ronny and Micha, who sought in their acquaintance musicians for a band. After several times changing occupations, the band took in the winter of 1994/1995 fixed form. In 1995 the first demo tape of the band was released, about a year later her first album was released for us and we for you , which was indexed because of the songs "Die Schleicher" and "Perverse Sau" and only reissued in 2000 without these titles and a new cover.
